Little Green Magnified

Macro Grass The wonder of nature.
The wonder of focus.
Stepping over them seems easy.
Until one steps down to see it from their prespective.

This is so random.
Solomon has 700 concubines.
Solomon has 300 wives.
What Solomon didn’t count on was his 300 mother-in-laws!

The man who loves one woman has loved them all.
The man who loves them all has loved none at all.

For all you know this little grass is the product of our ancestors’ decomposition. Lol.

ZZZZZzzzz…….

Marching To A Different Beat

authored on Wednesday, September 12th 2007

You are involved in a community that takes you for a ride. You have friends that influence your decisions, your parents tell you to do this and that, advertisements, newspapers, televisions, radio, music and even the books you read all have a rhythm.

Try this experiment. Listen to two songs at the same time.

Try another experiment. Sing two songs at the same time.

Impossible?

Like wise, many people advices you to listen to your own heart. Is that a  different drum beat from having your own opinion?

Surely is.

Many of you will recall during the childhood days, a doctor will say, ‘grow up to be a doctor, can make lots of money’, another ‘be a pilot, visit the world!’, same goes for lawyers, tailors, businessmen and everyone in your life that you literrally look up to.

So “which one?” right?

When you were young, anything goes. Experiment and go places to ‘find out your passions’.

Ahhh…. Passion. that’s the drummer.

The ‘thing’ that creates that rhythm.

The one thing that keeps you awake all night going on and on and on.

The one thing that you do without a push, without a fee, without any help from others.

The one thing you do that makes you forget time itself!

So once you start marching and dancing to a different beat, all other voices, songs, music, nagging, pestering, cheap advices, invalid solutions (what the heck), just melt away like water droplets off the ducks back.

If you have read this far, thank you. Your visit is very much appreciated. Comments from you are greatly welcomed.

Attitude Isn’t Everything

authored on Tuesday, September 11th 2007

Your attitude isn’t everything. Isn’t that quite a statement?

Yea yea, If A = 1 and Z = 26, A+T+T+I+T+U+D+E = 100%

What a joke.

I’ll tell you what comes before your ‘attitude’ becomes everything.

It is your paradigm, your view of the subject matter.

In short it’s to avoid ‘climbing up the wrong tree’ or ‘cutting the wrong jungle’.

Let me explain with a simple illustration.

You can never be too careful on the road. Accidents can happen but it will never happen to you. So you drive faster. That’s the save time right? Optimistic it is. What a great attitude.

Next to get the best of life, go dash through all the red traffic lights, it helps to save time!

Someone pissed you on the road? Honk like there’s no tomorrow. Live this day as though it’s your last!

Can you see where these attitude of ‘optimism’ and ‘positive thinking’ can lead you? 6 feet under with a blue black messed up face. Whatever.

This is too simple an illustration but the point being made is clear. You need to have a clear perspective,  the right mind set, before you can choose what is the right attitude to carry along with it.

So don’t cut down the wrong jungle thinking your attitude of ‘persistence is key’ will get you through.

Don’t climb the ladder of success to finally find out that ‘there’s nothing at the top’.

Last but not least, always begin with the end in mind and you won’t go wrong.

What Is Sin?

authored on Tuesday, June 19th 2007

Sometimes one can’t help but wonder what is sin?

Who determines what is right and what is wrong?

Don’t you sometimes that what you are doing isn’t right anymore?

Sometimes you are doing right but actually it’s to cover up a wrong?

What is right and what wrong now?

If you never go through these motions, are you human?

Speaking of which, it’s just a feeling right?

So if it feels right, then it’s right?

The questions are never ending, the answers are vague and after beating round the bush, you will find, you need an absolute point of reference!

What is a ‘point of reference’? Simply a goal, a yardstick, something or someone you can compare your right and wrong with.

An example, you say that the grass is greener on the other side. But you only know your grass is greener because you have had another patch of grass on the other side to compare to.

This sermon which brought out this topic got me thinking, what is sin. Here’s a poem I retreived from that sermon.

WHAT IS SIN?

” Whatever weakens your reasoning
Impairs the tenderness of your concious
Obsecures your sense of God
Or takes away your relish for spiritual things
In short if anything exceeds the authority of the flesh over the spirit
That you become sin however good it is in itself ”

So get your yardstick right, get your absolute point of reference right, and you will alright!

Have You Known God Yet?

authored on Sunday, June 17th 2007

Lord God I’ve never spoken to You
But now I want to say how do You do
You see God, they told me You didn’t exist
And like a fool I believed all these

Last night from a shell hole I saw Your sky
I figured right then they had told me a lie
Had I taken time to see the things You made
I would have know they weren’t calling a spade, a spade

I wondered God, if You’ll take my hand
Somehow I feel that You’ll understand
Funny I had to come to this hellish place
Before I had time to see Your face

Well I guess there isn’t much more to say
But I’m sure glad God that I met You today
I guess Zero hour will soon be here
But I’m not afraid, since I know You’re near

The signal

Oh God I’ll have to go
I like You Lord so I want You to know
Look now this will be a horrible fight
Who knows I may come to house tonight
Though I wasn’t friendly to You before
I wonder God if You’ll wait at Your door

Look I’m crying
I’m shedding tears
I have to go now God, goodbye
Strange now I’ve met You, I’m not afraid to die

Korea Trip Day 3 | More And More Flowers (& economics?)!

authored on Friday, June 15th 2007

These two flower pictures are of the best of the four flower pictures IMHO. Still, despite the cold, an attempt has to be made to snap these pictures up.

Korea Flowers

The last blog post was all about economics and ‘no such thing as a free lunch’.

Maybe this is something God is trying to say to us humans!

Salvation is free but Jesus has to die on the cross.

Adam had the whole Garden of Eden to himself yet he has to rule over them, give the animal names and probably communicate to them!

The earth can take care of itself if left alone, but it’s our human responsiblity to not polute it beyond repair, in fact we have to conserve the only earth we have!

Is there something for nothing? Napoleon Hill says no. Marketers say no. Economists say no. But in essence, one can trade something for something and ROI can become the factor. Sell services for money, use money for service. Economical cycle.

Money can always be earned back. Friends & opportunities cannot be earned back. On the dying bed, no one says, ‘let me see my bank account one more time’, but ‘let me see my friends and family just one more time’.

Ah, some revelation is coming out of this lonely blog. Gagaga.

Here’s the second picture. Thank you for ‘tolerating’ me with my rant. I’m just giving you some service ;p

Commencing Desire For Better Command In English Language

authored on Saturday, June 2nd 2007

And Behold! I’m ecstatic (happy) to initiate (start) this post with some High Falutin (Bombastic) rhyme!

“Coruscate, scintillate, asteroid,
Your constitution exercises my cognitations”

Can you guess what does this mean?

But first, some gorgeous faces for your ultimate pleasure!

If Only I Am that Handsome

Don’t the two just look so sweet? I met them on the shopping road. I said ‘hi’ but they never replied… becuz it’s a poster. Hah.

Okay, back to the topic. High Falutin rhyme.

“Coruscate, scintillate, asteroid,
Your constitution exercises my cognitations”

is

“Twinkle, twinkle little star,
How I wonder what you are!”

Hope you guys don’t kill me now, that was for fun.

For some great discussion here’s another High Falutin rhyme:

“Behold repeatedly the precipitate progress of that triad of sightless rodents;
unanimously they coursed apace on the heels of the agriculturalist’s matrimonial consociate,
who summarily excised their caudal appendages.”

Don’t fret yea, just comment ahead what you think the rhyme is!
