Many of my friends will recall that I don’t watch horror movies.  However just for this time, I went out with a close friend of mine, and none of the movies was appealing to our mood.  So we decided to watch a horror movie instead.

It started off with the elimination of a family.  Then a new family moved in.  They required some help  in growing sunflower, so they hired a man that came by. Uneventful nights will pass by  and only nights that have ghost encounter will be screened.

First the daughter of the new family started to see visions and experienced what the old family when through and subsequently the whole family will join her in the visions.

The animations were quite dumb, to avoid being spotted by the untrained eye, the animations blurred out or moved in a fast-forward mode.

In the end, the man that they hired was the old owner of this farm who had eliminated his whole family because he was a failure in maintaining the family together.  The ghost were of this family.  While he was hallucinating and trying to kill off this new family, the old one came and drag him into the ground.

And they live happily ever after.

Would you still wanna watch this movie?

Have You Been Slaughtered While Computer Shopping?

authored on Friday, April 20th 2007

Have you been to a computer fair? I did. I stopped going once because I found out that the price there ain’t that much different from the everyday computer stores in Lau Yat. Yea, but this time I was very enthusiastic about going there because I was looking for a discount on a mouse I had set my eyes upon.

The Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser MouseÂ

Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse

Ahhh, my dream mouse. So while looking, I saw many stores such as SONY.

Okay, back to the topic. If there is a fair, one should see a price slash in all the products… At least that was the mentality I was brainwashed to be.

But alas, there were some products that I had got myself acquainted with and I know their prices like the the back of my hand. However these items were sold $50 above the normal price! I’m talking about an item that costs about $269, and they price it at $299, giving a it a cool ‘hot deal’ icon on their leaflet. Oh, someone save the pockets of those unsuspecting ones who will buy them.

Once again, this experience has now thought me to never buy at impluse but rather always do your research. One won’t die because one doesn’t get the latest iPod or laptop.

It has also strongly reminded me why I never go PC Fair for the past year. Until they come up with a better reason, they has very much lost a good customer.

TV Became Reality

authored on Wednesday, April 11th 2007

Ever have those experience that what you saw on television came true?

While I was exercising this morning jumping on my rebounder and watching Astro on the TV, I was randomly surfing through the channels… there was this lady who was walking into a living room and she tripped over a wire, this lady then got up to see what she had tripped over.

Her husband came in while holding the phone saying, “why did you unplug my power cord, I was on a very important call”… and suddenly my whole house and my whole neighbor with has no electricity!

It was then that I truly woke up from my morning slumber.  It wasn’t raining, it wasn’t even cloudy.  I really couldn’t do much with my computer went there is no more power.  Quickly I thought of and alternative, I was thinking of going to Starbucks with my laptop instead.  However within five minutes, the electricity came back on and life is like a flower blooming again :-)

How Much Can You Ask of Life?

authored on Sunday, April 8th 2007

Here is a quote from Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich:

“I bargained with Life for a penny,
and Life would pay no more,
however I begged at evening when I
counted my scanty store.

For Life is a just employer,
he gives you what you ask.
But once you have set the wages,
why, you must bear the task.

I work for a menial’s hire,
only to learn, dismayed,
that any wage I had asked of Life,
Life would have really paid.”So, how much have you ask of life?

If life is treating you well, you would agree that you have paid the price and you fully deserve what you have.

There is no such thing as something for nothing.  To get something you must return some services or favors in exchange for the money that you want.

Procrastination, hesitate, slow moving, are the main causes of why people never reached the dreams they long for.

So, how much have you ask of life?  Are you willing to pay the price?

I did.  I took the time to build web pages, build blogs, write articles, learn programming… all these that I learned, by offering them to people, life will give back to me in abundance!

Do you have any experience to share?

Five Things You Don’t Know about Tomagogame

authored on Thursday, April 5th 2007

Some fellow tagged me  so now I have to talk about some grandmother stories… just kidding!

Here are five things that I believe, no one knows about:

1. 80% of my blog I not typed but voice initiated!  The words that you see here, are literally typed as I speak into a microphone.  Isn’t that cool!

2. I learned how to write 1 to 10 in Korean in one sitting. ir i sam sa wo puk chir par ku sim. See!  I can write it though I can’t put the Korean characters on my website.

3. I drink carrot and apple juice every morning (unless I run out of fruits to juice).  Have yogurt and oats for lunch. Ain’t I health-conscious?

4.  Thanks to the carrot juice and a detoxification program, I look 10 years younger :-)

5. Though many say I am a computer expert, I have no idea how to use RSS feeds!

These five things doesn’t make the world a better place to live in so I will tag no one. Get a life!

Moneymaking Opportunity

authored on Wednesday, April 4th 2007

I went to titiwangsa today. Malaysia has set up a ferries wheel and called it Eye On Malaysia.

Eye On Malaysia

They will be having this event date tonight every day to the end of year 2007.So what does this entertainment had to do with money making opportunity?

Here is the math I had done while standing there staring at these gigantic monument for a good 15 minutes.

There are 42 gondolas on the ferries wheel in which one of them is meant for the VIP.
There is a maximum of eight people in one gondola.
An adult will cost $15 each. Seniors, children, and the disabled will cost $8 each.
After you get on board, the ferries wheel will spin four rounds, taking two minutes each round.

Let’s do the math:

42 gondolas * 8 persons * $15 equals
$5,040 for an eight minute ride
each adult will pay two dollars for a minute ride

How cool is that?!

Here is another picture

Eyes Of Malaysia

I know, I know… other countries have bigger ones that could easily be three to four times bigger.

But what if you are the one who proposed this idea, it will greatly help the nation’s economy plus lining your pocket extra income :-)

Are you a dreamer? Never give up! ‘Impossible’ should never be in your dictionary!
